We will be hosting recruiting nights at Root (Sept 9), Butterfield (Sept 10) and Holcomb (Sept 11) at 6:30PM. We will need several leaders at these events to help with the registration forms and fees and with entertaining the new boys while we pitch cub scouting to their parents. It is important that we get the registration forms passed out and all questions answered prior to the parents leaving. This paperwork is essential for getting the new boys signed up and it must be done correctly. This will also help out with getting everyone plugged into scout track and with our re-charter process later this year. |

We had an excellent Pack Meeting last night! I think everyone had a great time with the water balloons and ice cream! I would like to thank Brent Robinson for the Ben & Jerry's donation and Jessica West for helping me fill up over 500 water balloons. For those of you who were unable to attend I wanted to recap some of the announcements. |

Each scout needs to familiarize themselves with the scout flag ceremonial steps. You can find this information about planning and leading a Flag Ceremony on page 53 of the Webelos Handbook. For new members, the handbooks can be purchased at the Scout Shop in Springdale. You can also check at Fayetteville Public Library. I know that they have a few copies on hand that are available to check out. |

Our Pack Rummage Sale was a big success!
We brought in $1294.80 over the two days. Subtracting the donation to the church for their contributions and letting use their gym, lunch for both days, rummage sale supplies, patches and lemonade stand supplies we came out with $1007.14.
Thank you to everyone who donated and help run it! |
